In the mysterious and surreal zone between Tehran and Winnipeg, the fates of several characters intertwine in surprising and mysterious ways. Classmates Negin and Nazgol find a sum of money frozen in the winter ice and try to recover it. Meanwhile, Massoud leads an increasingly disoriented group of tourists to Winnipeg’s landmarks and historical sites. Matthew quits his dead-end government job in Quebec and sets off on a mysterious journey to visit his mother. Space, time, and personal identities intersect, intertwine, and echo in this surreal comedy of disorientation.
