In the mysterious and surreal intermediate zone somewhere between Tehran and Winnipeg, the lives of many characters intertwine with each other in a surprising and mysterious way. Junior school students Negin and Nazgol find a sum of money frozen in the winter ice and ask to take it back. Meanwhile, Masud leads a group of increasingly puzzled tourists around Winnipeg’s monuments and historical sites. Matthew quits his pointless job at a government agency in Quebec and embarks on a mysterious journey to visit his mother. Space, time and personal identities merge, intertwine and echo in a surreal comedy of misdirection.
